- ClearVue appoints Sinrok Solar Energy as exclusive partner for South Korea’s Bara Factories Expansion Project led by Dongjin subsidiary Bara Company.
- Distribution rights agreed for ClearVue’s solar glazing products, including exclusive rights for fencing and road barrier applications in South Korea.
- Partnership aligns with Korea’s national Smart Factory strategy, integrating ClearVue’s solar technology into next-generation industrial infrastructure.
7 April 2025: Smart building materials company ClearVue Technologies Limited signed a Collaboration Agreement with leading South Korean solar energy company Sinrok Solar Energy Co., Ltd. to establish a new strategic partnership for the distribution and deployment of ClearVue’s advanced solar glazing technologies in South Korea.
Under the terms of the Collaboration Agreement, Sinrok will become the non-exclusive distributor of ClearVue’s solar glazing solutions in the general building, construction, and greenhouse sectors across South Korea, and the exclusive distributor for use in solar fencing and road barrier applications.
In addition, ClearVue has appointed Sinrok as its exclusive partner for securing the development and delivery of the Bara Factories Expansion Project—a major industrial site expansion initiative being undertaken by Bara Company, a subsidiary of the Dongjin Group, located at Eumseong, Chungcheongbuk Province in South Korea. The factory expansion will increase the floor area by 25,470 square metres at a total construction cost of approx. USD $19m.
This new collaboration comes at a time when South Korea continues to invest heavily in its national Smart Factory initiative—aiming to modernise its factories with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and clean energy. The integration of ClearVue’s solar building materials supports this vision by enabling factories to generate their own renewable power, increase energy efficiency, and meet ESG compliance standards. The Bara Factories Expansion Project will serve as a leading example of this next-generation smart manufacturing infrastructure.
ClearVue CEO Martin Deil said:
“This agreement with Sinrok marks a significant milestone in ClearVue’s global growth strategy. South Korea represents a dynamic and forward-thinking market for green construction and renewable technologies. Through our collaboration on the Bara Factories Project, we will not only be showcasing our building integrated solar technologies at scale, but also forming a trusted local alliance that can accelerate our presence in South Korea.
We are delighted to be working with a high-quality partner like Sinrok to pursue these exciting opportunities.”
Sinrok Chairman and Founder Daeseok Kim said:
“We are proud to partner with ClearVue, a global leader in solar-integrated glass technology. This collaboration brings world-class innovation to South Korea’s construction and infrastructure sectors at a time when ESG and renewable energy adoption are accelerating in our region. We look forward to delivering the Bara Factories Expansion Project together and introducing ClearVue’s high-performance solar glazing products into the Korean market for fencing, barriers, buildings, and more.”
The parties intend to formalise a Distribution Agreement in the coming months, which will include detailed commercial terms, product support, and sharing of local certification responsibilities. In the interim, Sinrok will begin engagement activities on securing the Bara Factories Expansion Project and with other potential customers across South Korea.
